How does Profhilo® work?
Profhilo® is a unique bio-remodelling product which has three fundamental effects:
- The Hydro Effect: hyaluronic acid releases gradually into the skin, making Profhilo® extremely biocompatible and reducing the risk of any localised inflammation. As Profhilo® diffuses into the different layers of your skin, it boosts its hydration by creating a natural-looking glow
- The Lift effect: the cross-link architecture of the hyaluronic acid in Profhilo® amplifies the natural volume and texture of your skin. The effect is a flawless and rejuvenated version of you
- The Collagen effect: thanks to the hybrid complex of hyaluronic acid, Profhilo® promotes the production levels of collagen fibres. This results in a more youthful look, better elasticity and reduction in fine lines.
How long does it last?
Profhilo® first treatment consists of two sessions within a month. Thereafter, treatment is recommended between 8 and 12 months, depending on each individual.
Can Profhilo® be used on other parts of the body?
Yes, Profhilo® is an excellent treatment option for the neck, hands, décolletage, knees and elbows.
What should I expect during my treatment session?
During your consultation, Marco will go through a full assessment of your face and will test your skin texture, elasticity and hydration. You will then discuss the benefits of Profhilo® and how it can help your skin to look restful. Once we have agreed on an approach, Marco will proceed with the treatment plan. First, your skin will be cleaned and disinfected. Profhilo® is then administered through the BAP technique, which identifies 5 points on each side of the face that follow specific anatomical landmarks. This technique minimises discomfort and allows for better absorption of the product.
Once the treatment is completed, Marco will assess your skin and gently perform a massage to encourage full absorption of the product. Marco will be happy to answer any queries and will be available to offer any assistance if needed.
